ITINERARY

DAY 1 LIMA PICK UP
Upon arrival reception and transfer to the select hotel - overnight (no meals)

Day 2 LIMA - PACHACAMAC
You will be picked up from your hotel. A unique archaeological and mystical experience: The Oracle, Temples, Palaces, Myths and Legends.

ANCESTRAL SHRINES Our tour will start at the Pucllana temple built in the IV century A.D., an ancestral and ceremonial site dedicated to the local divinities. A panoramic view of the Huacllamarca shrine, a typical pyramid that characterizes sacred buildings on Peru’s coast. These shrines are located in the modern Lima neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores.

PACHACAMAC guided tour of the splendid and vast archaeological citadel of Pachacamac, the temple of the deity, Pachacamac, believed to be the creator of the universe and a divinity adored by old Andean civilizations. A sacred and ceremonial site dating back to the beginnings of Christianity where thousands of pilgrims converged to pay tribute and consult the Pachacamac oracle, who they believed could see the past, the future and people’s fate. The site comprises pyramidal temples and enclosures built by successive pre-Colombian civilizations and finally the Incas. Highlights include the Temple of Pachacamac, the Sun God shrine, and the Palace of the Chosen Women or Virgins of the Sun.At the site museum there is an idol of the deity, Pachacamac, which couldn’t be seen by the profane, and was reserved for the high priests who kept, revered and interpreted the divine oracle in the old times. A sacred site, the temple was considered to be part of the planet’s mystical axis.

BARRANCO AND VILLA MARSHLANDS. After a visit to Barranco, a neighborhood both traditional and bohemian, and its well-known Bridge of Sighs, we will tour the beaches along the Green Coast and the Friar’s Leap ledge over the ocean, the Ecological Reserve at the Villa Marshlands, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean along the South Pan-American Highway.
After tour you will be taken to your hotel. Overnight . Breakfast included.

Day 3 NAZCA FULL DAY TOUR – PRIVATE SERVICE
You will be picked up from your Hotel in Lima at 6:00 am, departure to Nazca in private transportation, the ride will take around 6 hours each way . On the way we will visit the Museum of the site. The Maria Reiche tomb and we will stop at the Over view of Nazca. Cut into the stony desert are large number of lines, not only parallels and geometrical figures, but also designs such as a dog, an enormous monkey, a bird with a wing span of over 100 meters, a spider and a tree. The lines, that represent some sort of vast astronomical pre-Inca calendar, are best seen from the air, we will take a half hour flight above the Lines (Airfare included), after the over flight we will take some time to rest and we will have lunch (included) before to come back to Lima. (L) Overnight.

Day 4 LIMA / CUSCO
You will be picked up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco upon arrival reception and transfer to the select hotel, morning at leisure to acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon 2;00pm you will be taken on a city tour and visit a local archeological sites, the Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman and surroundings returning later afternoon 5:30pm to your hotel around and enjoy the hospitality of the local people (B).

Day 5 PIKILLACTA, TIPON AND ANDAHUAYLILLAS
Pikillaqta
Pikillacta which is quite amazing for its straight roads, two story-buildings and even ten-metre-high walls. This remains can tell us a lot of the ancient pre-inka cultures. Is located beside the Watanay river , on the land of the Muyna lagoon mostly known as Huacarpay.
The area of Pikillaqta is of 3421 hectares. The altitude at this point is 3205 m.a.s.l. If you take the main road to Puno after 32.2km you will find the dirt road which leads you to Pikillaqta..
Pikillacta is decorated with walls higher than 10 m and 1 .20 m wide, built in stone and clay. In Inka times it was used as a check point before getting into Collasuyo.

Tipon
Tipon which has a great range of Andens and Irrigation Channels, this shows that this was a place destined to the Agriculture research. Is located on the valley of the same name, in the community of Choquepata, district of Oropesa, province of Quispicanchis, department of Cusco.
The area of Tipon is aapproximately 227 hectares, and located at 3500 m.a.s.l. You can get there by the main road to Puno at about 17.5 km away from Cusco and then about another 2km on dirt road which will lead you to the farm of Quispicanchis, then you must walk until the complex itself.
Scientists suggest that this archaeological area was built during the final period of the government of Yawar Wakaj and it was completed during the period of Wiracocha, but looking at the arquitectural style and the characteristics of the the construction they are more inclined towards the period of Pachakutec.

Andahuaylillas
Art also outstands in the South Valley, that's how in Andahuaylillas we can find a beautiful little church built on colonial times which owns wonderful paintings and precious portraits. The outside as well as the inside is all painted with different images.

Day 6 SACRED VALLEY, PISAC, OLLANTAYTAMBO, CHINCHEROS
After breakfast at 8:45am you will be taken through the Inca Sacred Valley where life has remained almost unchanged for 500 years. You will visit the impressive village of Pisac and the Indian market, enjoy the beautiful handicrafts on sale and wonder at the many ethnic tribal costumes worn, not just for tourists, but as part of their heritage by the local people. The tour also include the visit to Ollantaytambo fortress and the Chinchero Market Before returning to your hotel in Cusco late afternoon (around 6:30pm) (breakfast and Lunch included)

Day 7 MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY TOUR (See more about Machu Picchu)
Early morning 5:30am and after breakfast, we'll depart to the train station to our journey to Machu Picchu on Vista dome Train. (4 hours) at 9:40am you will arrive to the Aguas Calientes Town from where you will have to take 20 minutes bus to the Archeological site Once there where you will have a guided tour with an English speaking professional guide follow by some time at leisure, As an option, you may stay overnight in the area or town (highly recommended) and visit the ruins early next day when the full magnificence of the site reveals itself in all its majesty. You can also relax at the nearby hot springs . Otherwise, return to Cuzco where you will arrive around 7:30pm.  (breakfast included)

Day 8 TRANSFER OUT
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight out end of our services
